Calzado Francis

Website and custom CMS for a shoe repair workshop in Leganés, Madrid, with +38 years in the trade. I built it end to end: design, development, deployment and SEO. The goal was for the owner to change almost everything without calling me.

Private panel to edit copy, photos, services, FAQs, monthly opening hours, holidays and notices.
Every service created in the CMS generates its own page, URL, SEO metadata and sitemap entry.
Serverless backend with Cloudflare Pages Functions and Workers KV; the admin panel sits behind Cloudflare Zero Trust.
Automated backups with GitHub Actions plus integrity, security and SEO checks.
Seasonal themes (Halloween, Christmas) that switch on by themselves based on the date.

.NET Web API services for a banking client: its website and mobile app.

Designed and maintained endpoints consumed by Java systems, and worked on new services and versioning for the mobile app.
Automated all API service tests with Postman collections.
Implemented a client-side failure automation tool to keep incidents under control and resolve them sooner.
Worked on the bank’s new website with usability, performance and security improvements.
Resolved F&F, UAT, accessibility and service incidents, plus security ones: access reviews and validation.

About me

Profile

I am Aarón, a full-stack developer from Badajoz, Spain. I started coding because I was curious about how websites work on the inside, and I loved it. What I enjoy most now is taking projects all the way: not leaving them as a demo, but running and being used.

At NTT DATA I spent almost two years working remotely for banking and real-estate clients. I maintained .NET APIs the bank’s mobile app and other systems depended on, automated their tests and solved incidents across environments. That taught me to work carefully on other people’s code and to coordinate with several teams.

On my own I built the Calzado Francis website, for a workshop in Leganés, end to end: design, custom CMS, Cloudflare deployment, SEO and backups. It is designed so the owner can update it without depending on me.

Outside work I keep coding: I built erensito.com, my personal site, and I am developing Vhaerynd, a 2D browser RPG with Phaser and TypeScript. I have competed in video games at national level for years, and it is where I have learned most about teamwork: communicating under pressure, reviewing what I get wrong and understanding that results belong to everyone. To switch off, I do sport, travel whenever I can and get out into nature.

Now I am looking for a team where I can put what I know to work and keep learning. I adapt well to projects already under way and I also take care of the less glamorous part: incidents, data and tests.
